Ecosoul Straws Package Redesign
I like to buy eco-friendly products whenever possible so when I saw Ecosoul straws on sale at the grocery store, I had to get them. Unfortunately, due to their packaging being underwhelming I almost walked right past them. I saw this as an opportunity to do a rebrand of their straws and adding two more types, milkshake and boba straws. Those are the most annoying to clean if you use reusable ones.

There is a consensus that single use plastics are bad for the environment and microplastics are in every human on the planet, but is getting rid of straws the answer? No. Straws are an accessibility tool for a lot of people. Ecosoul straws are made out of a biodegradable plastic derived from corn starch. They don’t get soggy like paper straws and don’t feel awkward in your mouth like metal straws. Once you’re done using these straws and compost them, they take less than 200 days to fully biodegrade compared to regular plastic straws that take 200 years.
